Fitness at its Finest

A non-traditional approach to personal training using tools from management consulting. Workout programs designed for busy professionals seeking personalized attention at home.

A Strategic, Structured Return to Strength

I offer strategic fitness programming and private, in-home personal training services for a small number of clients in the Portland area.

You may be returning to exercise after time away, transitioning out of physical therapy, or looking for a safe, structured way to rebuild strength. I can help you break through by designing training that rebuilds strength safely and progressively, especially if you’re starting again or recovering from injury.

A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (NSCA-CSCS) with over 20 years of experience, I work as a:

  • Post-physical therapy bridge
  • Longevity-focused strength coach
  • Behavior change guide

My Approach

My unique approach draws from academic frameworks to help us reduce friction getting in the way of your goals.

  • I use the tenets of Strategic Planning to create a long-term vision for your fitness journey, then break it down into each step to get there.
  • I follow the problem-solving principles of Management Consulting to identify obstacles and opportunities to maximize your results.

This translates into an approachable new beginning for you, supported by mindful self compassion.

About Natalie

Natalie began her career in fitness as Head Assistant Coach for The Running Center in New York City, where she led the beginner running classes and the Marathon/Half Marathon training program. She built her career upon a foundation of elite in-home personal training for clients in Manhattan and her work as head trainer for the American Museum of Natural History’s winter fitness walking program.

Natalie has lived in Portland for over 15 years, and offers private clients an approach to fitness that draws from her work as a corporate strategy consultant. In-person and remote clients include busy senior executives, patients "graduating" out of physical therapy, and people who have found that the traditional personal training system hasn't worked for them. She is the founder of Mount Tabor Runner's Boot Camp and its iterations.

Natalie has held the credential of distinction from NSCA as a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) since 2006, and earned her graduate degree in Management from Harvard University in 2023.
